What We Do
Conexus works with manufacturers who want to expand beyond their domestic market without building their own on-the-ground international sales teams. Our clients are typically established businesses with differentiated products, strong margins, and the capacity to scale.
Our role is advisory. We identify high-potential markets, map decision-makers, and guide the business development process from first introduction through negotiation, leveraging long-standing international relationships and in-country expertise.
Our Export Advisory Services
Export Readiness & Assessment
Advisory support to evaluate export readiness, market fit, and strategic priorities before entering new regions.
Market Entry Strategy
Structured guidance on target markets, positioning, pricing, and go-to-market approach based on local insight and relationships.
Negotiation & Deal Support
Ongoing advisory support throughout negotiations to help align interests, manage risk, and move toward successful agreements.
Buyer Identification & Introductions
Identification of qualified buyers, distributors, government entities, and institutional partners aligned with the product and market.
International Experience Track Record
Conexus brings decades of international experience, particularly in Middle East growth markets. Since 2016, we have represented Atlantic Canadian seafood companies marketing live lobster and HPP frozen raw lobster products into the United Arab Emirates.
Our founder has represented Canadian companies in the Middle East since 1992, building long-standing commercial and government relationships that continue to benefit clients today. This experience informs our understanding of local business culture, procurement processes, and market dynamics.
Conexus has also supported Canadian exporters through complex, multi-stakeholder approvals and market access initiatives, working directly with partners including the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service to help Atlantic Canadian seafood products enter new international markets.
How We Work
We operate on a performance-based advisory model designed to reduce risk and align incentives. Manufacturers retain control over product, pricing, and brand, while Conexus provides strategic guidance, introductions, and in-market expertise.
Our work is relationship-driven and long-term in nature. We focus on building sustainable market presence rather than one-off transactions, helping manufacturers establish credibility and repeat business in their target markets.
